András I was born at Cluj in 1944. I graduated in 1969 from the Graphic Arts Section of theFine Arts Institute "Ion Andreescu" at Cluj. From 1970 I live in Miercurea Ciuc. I was teacher until 1974, since then I'm advertisement designer. Most of my art works are large-sized (50/65 cm), made in the technique mezotinta, such as the series of 10 ilustrations for csangó ballads, and the 8 ilustrations about the novel "Hundred years of solitude" of Gabriel García Márquez. But my most lasting work is the 120 square metres ceiling peinture of the church from Sâncrai-Călata, peinted joitly with PÁLFFY ÁRPÁD in 1994. Address: 4100 Miercurea Ciuc , str. Florilor, nr.42/12.
